About Bryony
Bryony has been competing and training horses for over 20 years. Having trained horses from 4yo to FEI level and competed numerous horses at Royal Shows around the country, she knows what it takes to train a horse through to the highest level.
Bryony has developed a non-confrontational approach to training horses; paying close attention to how her body influences the horse and giving every horse she rides the chance to process what she is asking before performing every movement with relaxation and willingness.
Services
Specialising in the exercising and training of dressage and show horses, Bryony is fully insured and available to exercise and train horses of all ages/types, however she is not suited to breakers or re-training problem horses.
Casual Training
Bryony is available to travel to your property to exercise/train your horse for short or long term engagements.
Servicing areas: Southern Macedon Ranges (eg. Gisborne, Macedon, Romsey, Woodend), Sunbury, Oaklands and surrounds.
In House Training
Bryony has limited spaces available to take horses in for training at her home base in New Gisborne.
Competitions
Bryony regularly attends shows and competitions and is available to campaign your horse at one-off events or for a full season.
Horses
Bryony’s current team includes:
Carwyn Milani (Lani)
13.2hh, Welsh Cob
Competing Elementary/Medium.
Lani is owned by Bryony’s mum, Dorothy, and when Bryony moved out of home, Lani stepped up as the golden child of the family.
Lani turns heads wherever she goes, not only with her stunning good looks but with her quality paces, temperament and work ethic.
Flowervale Bollinger (Bolli)
16hh, Warmblood x Dutch RP
Young Horse
Bolli is very clearly the ‘middle child’ of the family. He has the most adoring personality and loves having a chat with anyone who will listen… however he is also first to throw a tantrum if no one is paying him attention.
Bryony is looking forward to training Bolli up through the levels.
Lauries Gold (Alfie)
16.2hh (and growing), Warmblood
Unbroken
Alfie is the clown of the family. He is fun loving, friendly and highly food motivated (will do anything for a carrot). Second to carrots, he also loves a daily ‘hoon’ around his paddock and chasing cats.
Bryony is looking forward to getting Alfie broken in by the end of 2020 and is excited to see what the future holds for him.
